We have received notification from the NCTC that there will be some programming changes coming at the end of 2021, and at the beginning of 2022.
These changes are beyond our control and are a decision to change discontinue programming by the companies.
The changes are as follows:
ESPN Classic – carried on Extended Basic Channel 33. As of January 1, 2022, this programming will be discontinued. There are no plans to replace it at this time.
NBC Sports – carried on Extended Basic Channel 40. As of December 31, 2021, at 11:59 PM, this programming will be discontinued. There are plans in place to move some of this programming to another Channel. Since this is part of the NBCU family, please note the portion caption of the notice that we received below.
Beginning Jan. 1, 2022, USA Network broadens its slate with the addition of premium NBC Sports events, including coverage from the Premier League, NASCAR, INDYCAR, the Olympic Games, USGA, and The R&A Golf Championships, college and Olympic sports, horse racing, cycling and more. In addition, CNBC, Peacock, and other linear platforms will also host a wide variety of live sports.
USA Network will kick off the 2022 sports calendar on Saturday, Jan. 1 at 7 a.m. ET with a New Year’s Day Premier League tripleheader, beginning with Arsenal hosting defending champion Manchester City.
DIY – carried on Extended Basic Chanel 55. As of January 5, 2022, at 9:00 PM, this programming will be changed to Magnolia.
